Mississippi Statewide Court Document Retrieval
Our researchers will retrieve and copy court documents in any Mississippi court whether it is located in Federal, Circuit, County, Chancery, Municipal or Justice Courts. All research must be done "on site" at each respective jurisdiction and court. Average turn around time is twenty-four hours from request.
Mississippi Courts
There are eighty-two counties in Mississippi. Each county has one or more districts which divide the counties jurisdictions which may have multiple courts.
State circuit and county courts contain civil and criminal records for each county. Civil lawsuits above $2,500 would be filed at these courts as well as criminal felony records.
County and Circuit Courts
Chancery Courts
Chancery courts contain deed, title and divorce records. Uniform credit codes and some tax liens may also be located here.
Justice Courts
Each county has one justice court which will include misdemeanor crimes filed outside of municipal jurisdictions and all civil suits under $2,500 for the entire county.
